How It Works

A high-level overview of how the MetaLife system works overall.

Metalife is a collections NFT combined with a passive MMORTS Metaverse, heavily inspired by Sims. Players make decisions that play out slowly as they play they game. Meaning they make changes (perhaps an hour every week or two), then see their changes play out in the Metaverse’s economy.

The game has passive elements to it. You only need to check it periodically.

Metalife is made of two major components, the Token and Metaverse systems. These systems interact with each other to make the full experience. Below we’ll overview how the system works overall.

Metalife is a steady interplay between tokens, the metaverse, and you (the users).

The metaverse will start off on the Ethereum blockchain. Though, as we grow larger we will move off to the Polygon blockchain. Players earn $LIFE tokens, and can use the tokens to earn assets. They can also stake assets to earn capital. More will be discussed on this in later pages.

Metaverse Game Engine

Our game engine will primarily use smart contracts and Polygon Edge for object persistence. It has the structure for managing all of the game's objects.
